“Room Service (at the Tahiti Motel)”

“Room Service (at the Tahiti Motel)” was orginally recorded as part of Sleet Suite under the title “Griddle Slide” for the 1990 soundtrack of the children’s video Paul Bunyan on Windham Hill Records. The composition evolved over the span of nearly a decade, recorded as “Room Service (at the Tahiti Motel)” on Peculiaroso in 1994, and as the middle section of “I Yell at Traffic” on Leo Kottke Live in 1995. Then in 1999 this combination of “I Yell at Traffic” and “Room Service (at the Tahiti Motel)” merged with “Big Situation” to form “Bigger Situation” on One Guitar, No Vocals.
