The printed music for “Fatima’s Waltz” is sold as an individual transcription. “Fatima’s Waltz” is a blithe and engaging composition. Its attractive array of tone colors comes from the use of two-hands-on-the-fingerboard technique, a new path for amplified, acoustic guitar charted notably by Billy McLaughlin.
“Fatima’s Waltz” was originally released on Justin Roth/In Between in 2000 (Bus Records, BR 7400-02) and is available from www.justinroth.com. An extended arrangement was later released on Lifescapes/Solo Guitar (Compass Productions, LS2000-122-2, 2000). This transcription corresponds to the original recording.
