Ordering

There are two ways to order from Stropes Editions, Ltd.

1. Using our Secure Online Ordering
2. Mailing our order using a Printable Order Form

Secure Online Ordering

To place credit card orders using our secure online ordering system, first place the items you wish to purchase in your shopping basket. To place items in your shopping basket, go to the "Products" section of our web site and find the description page for an item that interests you. Use the "Add to Basket" form on that page to add the item to your basket. You can always remove an item from your basket later if you change your mind. After placing items in your shopping basket, click the Secure Online Order Form link to place your order.

Mail Orders

To place credit card or check orders using Mail ordering, first place the items you wish to purchase in your shopping basket. To place items in your shopping basket, go to the "Products" section of our web site and find the description page for an item that interests you. Use the "Add to Basket" form on that page to add the item to your basket. You can always remove an item from your basket later if you change your mind. After placing items in your shopping basket, click the Printable Order Form link to create an order form that you can print. After printing your order form, Mail your order to:

If paying by check, please make payable to "Stropes Editions, Ltd." Foreign orders payable using Visa or MasterCard, or in US dollars with either an International Postal Money Order or a bank draft drawn on a US bank.

Shipping

Processing - Orders are usually processed within 24 hours of receipt. If, for any reason, we are unable to process a charge to your account, you will be notified immediately by e-mail or by mail and asked for clarification.

Shipping - Orders are then shipped immediately via various methods of the United States Postal Service, with the exception, however, that no orders are shipped on Saturdays, Sundays or the following US holidays:

Non-arrival of shipment - If your shipment does not arrive within the framework of the estimated number of days for delivery, please contact us by phone, fax or e-mail. We will trace your order and see to it that it arrives safely.

U.S. Shipping

Method and Estimated Number of Days for Delivery - Orders shipped to destinations within the US are sent via Priority Mail. Priority Mail is said to be a 2 day service. This service has proven to be very reliable. It is, however, not guaranteed to be a 2 day service. If you require faster, guaranteed delivery, you may call 262-636-9910 and make special arrangements for an order to be shipped via Express Mail, overnight to most areas. With the exception of Express Mail, the United States Postal Service does not deliver on the aforementioned US holidays.

Taxes - We charge required state and local taxes (currently 5.1% of your total including shipping and handling) for orders shipped to Wisconsin addresses.

Non-U.S. Shipping

Method and Estimated Number of Days for Delivery - Orders shipped to destinations outside the US are sent via First Class Mail International. Estimated delivery time varies by destination. If you require faster delivery, you may call 262-636-9910 and make special arrangements for an order to be shipped via Express Mail International (3-5 day service) or Priority Mail International (6-10 day service).

Import Duties and Taxes - Import duties and/or taxes may be imposed by your government on shipments from outside your country. These charges are separate from our charges and are beyond our control or ability to predict. Of course, non-US customers wish to minimize the amount of import duties and taxes that they are required to pay.

Customs Declaration - Stropes Editions, Ltd. is required by law to declare an accurate monetary value for the contents of all non-US shipments. We are unable to honor any requests to suppress the value of an order on the customs declaration.

Orders Which Consist of $500 or More of Printed Music

There is no charge for shipping and handling on orders which consist of $500 or more of printed music which we publish. This includes the book Michael Hedges/ Rhythm, Sonority, Silence and the various individual transcriptions. These orders will be expedited via Express Mail International or Priority Mail International.
