"Orange Room" by Leo Kottke
	The printed music for "Orange Room" is sold as an individual transcription. "Orange Room" was written in 1978 and remained in Leo's concert repertoire for approximately five years. By 1982 he was playing it as the last section of a spellbinding medley consisting of "Egg Tooth," "Grim to the Brim," and "Orange Room." Leo Kottke recorded "Orange Room" once. It was released originally on a Chrysalis LP entitled Leo Kottke/Burnt Lips (CHR 1191, 1978) which appeared later as a CD (VK41191 DIDX 5042). In 1983 "Orange Room" was included on Leo Kottke/Voluntary Target , a compilation of selected titles that Leo had recorded for Chrysalis, which was released as a two-LP set by Pair Records (CRPDL 2-1016). Since 1994, Leo Kottke/Burnt Lips has been available from Beat Goes On (BGOCD259). "Orange Room" is also included on the more recent compilation Leo Kottke Instrumentals/The Best of the Chrysalis Years (Blue Note Records, 2003). The form of "Orange Room" changed slightly over the five years that Leo performed it. This transcription was developed principally from video recorded in 1981 with comparative analysis of video and audio recordings made between 1978 and 1996.
